I'm trying to build a cozy or hammock for my guinea pig Artie at home. I noticed he likes to snuggle in my softer, plusher blankets (much to my annoyance icon smile How do I make a cozy/hammock for my guinea pig? , and I would like to make one for him. Can anyone please help?

yeah i'm not sure a GP will climb up into a hammock. But if you had a sturdy ladder, I guess you could try.

Just make it like a rat one, but stronger. A square or rectangle of cloth (felt, etc) Hem the edges to make it stronger. Put a hole in each corner (might pay with a heavy GP to clip on those little round metal donut shaped things that reinforce holes. Depenidng on how high off the ground you want it, you will prob need to tie some cord through the holes to make loops. Then clip a metal clip onto the end of your cord loops and use the metal clips to clip onto the top fo the cage.

If that doesn't make sense, go to a pet shop and look at a professionally made one. They are very easy to copy.
